Remote Care
Stay connected to your patients and provide convenient, consistent care when it’s needed, without a clinic visit.
Your patient, your care, anywhere
Patients deserve ongoing care that is designed to maximise their performance while keeping them connected to you, no matter where life takes them.
Cochlear™ Remote Care solutions give you the flexibility to deliver quality care to your patients without a clinic visit, fitting into their lives and your schedule. You can perform Remote Care activities at a time that suits you, and your patients can conveniently access Remote Care through their compatible smartphone*, wherever they are.
Remote Care benefits
Most adults with hearing loss would use remote care options if they were offered by their clinician.1

Remote Check
For patients with a compatible sound processor*, Remote Check is an asynchronous tool which helps you monitor their progress remotely and provide care when it's needed.
Using the Nucleus Smart App on a compatible smartphone*, patients can complete a range of hearing health checks at a convenient time and place, without visiting the clinic. The results are then available for you to review.
Remote Check gives you the flexibility to monitor patient performance remotely, providing similar insights to an in-person visit4 which can help you plan your patients' continued care.
Activities in a Remote Check
When surveyed, clinicians reported it took as little as ten minutes to review Remote Check results.5

Remote Care for Nucleus sound processors
Remote Check and Remote Assist can be offered to patients with a compatible Nucleus Nexa, Nucleus or Kanso Sound Processor, a compatible smartphone and the Nucleus Smart App.*
