If you would like to self-pay, you can take advantage of the discounted self-pay price of $7,550 USD ($9,160 CAD) when you trade-in a Kanso or Nucleus 7 Sound Processor.1 If you prefer to keep your existing processor, the self-pay price is $10,550 USD2,3 ($12,660 CAD).

Options to help you pay the out-of-pocket cost
Payment options are not available on Canadian orders.
1. Flexible Spending Account
An account established through your employer, that allows pre-tax dollars to be used for qualifying medical expenses. FSA funds expire at the end of the year, so make sure to plan ahead.
2. Health Savings Account
HSAs are also established through your employer. These pre-tax funds can be carried over year-to-year, allowing you to save up to pay for qualifying medical expenses, such as a new sound processor.
3. CareCredit®*
Offers interest-free financing plans to allow you to spread your payments out over up to 24 months.

- You may trade-in one (1) non-obsolete Nucleus Sound Processor when you choose to self-pay. This offer excludes upgrade orders placed through Reimbursement & Insurance Services. Limit 1 trade-in per order.

This price does not apply when placing an upgrade order through Cochlear’s Reimbursement & Insurance Services. The Reimbursement & Insurance Service is a Premium Service. The Nucleus 8 Sound Processor is not currently compatible with the Nucleus 22 Implant.
The Kanso 2 Sound Processor is compatible with the Nucleus Profile Plus, Nucleus Profile Series, CI500 Series, CI24RE (Freedom) Series, CI24R and CI24M implants. The Kanso 2 Sound Processor will not be compatible with the Nucleus® 22 (N22) Implant due to the Kanso 2 Sound Processor's size and coil type.
