Overview
The Cochlear™ Aqua+ is a re-usable sealable sleeve that fits over your sound processor and is worn with an Aqua+ Coil. With Aqua+, your sound processor is a fully water-resistant (IP68) solution designed for swimming and bathing, so you can confidently wear your sound processor while enjoying your favorite water activities. The Cochlear Aqua+ features a built-in ear hook, and is worn behind-the-ear with your sound processor sealed inside.
- Suitable for use at depths of up to 3 meters (9 feet and 9 inches) for up to 2 hours.
- Can be re-used up to 50 times (may vary depending on individual usage).
- Designed for use in salt, fresh and chlorinated water.
Please note: To use Aqua+, your sound processor must be using rechargeable batteries and cannot be in Hybrid™ mode. If vigorous activity is expected, consider using the Mic Lock and/or Cochlear Safety Line. Please speak to your health professional for more information.
The large sleeve should be used with Power Extend and Power Compact rechargeable batteries. The compact sleeve should be used with Compact rechargeable batteries.

*The Cochlear Nucleus 8 Sound Processor with Aqua+ is dust and water resistant to level IP68 of the International Standard IEC60529. The Nucleus 8 Sound Processor with Aqua+ can be continuously submerged under water to a depth of up to 3 metres for up to 2 hours. Refer to the relevant user guide for more information.
