About bone conduction solutions

Bone conduction solutions are U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared, surgically implanted medical devices that treat conductive hearing loss, mixed hearing loss and single-sided deafness (SSD). Bone conduction solutions use the body’s natural ability to conduct sound to bypass the damaged part of the ear, sending sound directly to the inner ear (cochlea). Cochlear bone conduction solutions include the Osia® System and the Baha® System.
