What was supposed to be a routine health check-up became the shock of a lifetime for Melissa after her daughter, Isabella, failed a hearing test.
However, with early intervention, Isabella is improving in her speech development. She's not as shy as she was, and has even started playing football.
Isabella received her Baha 5 Attract system when she was five years old.
"After the surgery, we went home that day," Melissa said.
"We were home by noon and by three o'clock we had to remind her to stop jumping around. That's how easy it was."
Melissa says the Baha 5 Attract system has allowed Isabella to learn to read, make friends more easily, and enjoy playing football.
