CEO & President

Appointed 3 January 2018
Dig joined Cochlear in 2000 as an engineering manager in product development. He took responsibility for manufacturing in 2001 and the following year was appointed Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Logistics. In 2014 he was appointed President, Asia Pacific and appointed to Chief Operating Officer in July 2016. Dig was appointed President in July 2017 and CEO & President on 3 January 2018.
Chief Financial Officer
Joined Cochlear in early 2017 with more than 30 years' experience working in senior finance roles across a broad range of global industries and companies - including Health, Media (PBL Media) and Property (Westfield, Bankers Trust, Sheraton). He qualified as a CA at Deloitte, which included a transfer to the USA. Brent has also been a Director and major fundraiser for various charities and is an Alumni Leader for UNSW Business School.
Senior Vice President People & Culture
Jennifer joined Cochlear in 2008 as Senior HR Business Partner with responsibility for Manufacturing and Logistics and Safety and Wellness before taking on responsibility for People & Culture Business Partnering for Cochlear's global functions in 2016. Jennifer was appointed SVP People & Culture in 2017. Prior to Cochlear, she worked in commercial, strategy and HR leadership roles across a number of industries within Australia and the USA, including senior positions at Campbell Arnotts and Booz & Company.
Dr David N. Cade
Chief Medical Officer
MBBS, MBA, GAICD
David joined Cochlear in October 2017 as Chief Medical Officer. Prior to joining Cochlear he worked at Sirtex Medical Ltd, an ASX listed oncology company where he held positions in the USA, Europe and Australia. Most recently, David was the Chief Medical Officer for Sirtex Medical Ltd, a position he held since 2012. Earlier in his career David trained in general and plastic surgery at Monash Medical Centre in Melbourne Australia and worked at management consultancy, Booz & Company.
Senior Vice President, Manufacturing & Logistics

Senior Vice President, Manufacturing & Logistics (M&L) of Cochlear Limited. Joined Cochlear in 2007 with 20 years prior experience in Supply Chain management and Operations consulting positions across industrial equipment manufacturing and financial service industries in Australia.
Chief Information Officer
Joined Cochlear in July 2015 and has global responsibility for the organisation’s information technology. David’s focus is to execute IT strategy and position Cochlear as a business-to-business and business-to-consumer organisation.
David has held senior leadership roles in industries including insurance, communications, finance and logistics.
Chief Technology Officer
Joined Cochlear in 2000 as General Manager of the Cochlear Technology Centre based in Belgium. Commenced role of Senior Vice President, Design and Development in May 2005. Has 15 years' experience in research and development with involvement in fields of high technology electronics and cochlear implants.
Rom joined Cochlear in 2007 with responsibility for global marketing at Cochlear Bone Anchored Solutions, Sweden. In 2016 Rom was appointed General Manager Cochlear Acoustics to strategically lead both the bone anchored solutions business as well as Cochlear’s acoustic solutions business.
Senior Vice President of Global Marketing
Joined Cochlear in June 2016. Dean has more than 20 years' experience in medical devices and pharmaceuticals covering a range of senior commercial roles in the USA, Japan, Europe and Australia. Prior to joining, Dean led Global Strategic Marketing for Abbott Diabetes Care. Other roles include General Manager for Abbott's pharmaceutical and diabetes care businesses in Australia/New Zealand and commercial roles in Asia with AstraZeneca.
B(Ec) Hon, MBA
Stuart joined Cochlear in 2016 as President Services, responsible for after-care services for the company's recipients and professional health partners. Stuart comes extensive experience building B2C and B2B service businesses across the digital, media and finance industries.
President Asia Pacific
Anthony joined Cochlear in 2015 as Head of Marketing and Business Development in Asia Pacific before taking the role of President Asia Pacific in 2016. Prior to this Anthony held a range of international marketing, sales and general management roles at Johnson & Johnson Medical.
President, European Region
BSc Management, MBA
Joined Cochlear in 2003 with 15 years' prior experience in the medical device industry, including with Guidant Corporation. Previous roles include responsibility for direct and distributor operations in Europe, the Middle East, South Africa and Australasia in sales, marketing, customer and technical service functions.
President, North America
Joined Cochlear in 2005. Has over 30 years medical device experience, including senior commercial management roles at BEI Medical and Gyrus Medical. Prior roles in Cochlear include, VP of Sales USA, General Manager Cochlear Bone Anchored Solutions, USA and President Cochlear Bone Anchored Solutions, Sweden.
