"Children with profound hearing loss can do anything they want to do in the future if their parents support them."

- Illian, mother of Aziza

Illian discovered her daughter Aziza’s profound hearing loss when she was two and a half. Devastated by the diagnosis, Illian researched possible treatments and chose bilateral cochlear implants. Just two weeks after switch on, Aziza said her first word: “Mama.” Shortly after, she was asking her mother to teach her to put on her sound processors by herself.
