(Re)habilitation Expert Skills: Rehabilitation for Adults and Teenagers

This course will provide theoretical and practical training in aural rehabilitation (using the Cochlear Adult Aural Rehabilitation resources and other materials for teenagers and adults), conversation based reminiscence therapy, psychosocial rehabilitation, music therapy and the use of streaming in self-directed rehabilitation. Approaches to individual and group therapy will be discussed in detail.
The program will be a mixture of presentations, demonstrations and practical sessions.

Who should attend:
Professionals such as teachers of the deaf, speech and language therapists, hearing therapists, psychologists and habilitationists, who work with adult and/or child recipients in areas other than programming.
