Komal was 18 months when her family first noticed that she wasn’t responsive to sounds. She remained indifferent to most sounds even after using the hearing aids for two-three months and subsequently underwent a Cochlear™ implant surgery at the age of two.
Today, Komal is enrolled in a mainstream school & is a bright student who loves playing Kho Kho, Dodgeball & Badminton.
