This section will show you how to operate your Cochlear™ Baha® 3 Sound Processor (BP100), how to make adjustments to settings and programs, and what to consider if you are a parent, teacher or caregiver.

Turning your sound processor on and off

Turn your sound processor on by pressing the middle button and holding it down until the visual indicator flashes three times. To turn your sound processor off, press the middle button and hold it down for 2 seconds. The visual indicator won’t be active when the sound processor is turned off.

If the sound processor is turned off for longer than 15 minutes, or if the battery is changed or removed, it will turn to the default program and volume (as set by your hearing care professional) when it is turned on again.

Cleaning the sound processor

Clean the sound processor’s housing using a sound processor cleaning wipe. Do not use water to clean your sound processor.

Brush the snap coupling clean using the soft sound processor cleaning brush. Avoid using excessive force on the snap coupling as this could damage the processor.
