(Re)habilitation Expert Skills: Coaching and Guiding in Clinical Practice

Learning Outcomes:

This course will focus on practical coaching and guiding techniques for use in recipient and family sessions to help improve outcomes. Methods will be explored in-depth and practical tools and approaches will be shared that can be used pre-and post-implant. The use of data logging in rehabilitation and counselling will be included.

The programme will be a mixture of presentations, demonstrations and practical sessions.

Who should attend:

Professionals such as teachers of the deaf, speech and language therapists, hearing therapists, psychologists and habilitationists, who work with adult and/or child recipients in areas other than programming.
