250 Euro, excl. VAT This course will provide the core knowledge required to practice as a CI clinician. The format will be a mixture of presentations and practical sessions with the Nucleus clinical software.
This course will provide information on:
- CI assessment, selection considerations and criteria
- The complete Nucleus Cochlear Implant system product portfolio
- Nucleus Custom Sound TM programming software
- The parameters to consider when programming the sound processor and the steps involved in initial and subsequent programming sessions
- Troubleshooting the external equipment
- The role of (re)habilitation at the pre-operative and post-operative stages of the CI process
This course will typically be followed by the Electrophysiology Masterclass I where the foundations of obtaining NRT (Neural Response Telemetry)-measurements will be discussed and practiced. We would strongly recommend attending this one-day course after the introductory course.
Who should attend?:
Clinicians who have a basic knowledge of implants and little/no experience with programming of CI recipients.
