120 Euro, excl. VAT This one-day course will provide an overview of the features and benefits of the different electrophysiology measurements that can be used with CI candidates and recipients. The focus will be on the peripheral measurements Electrical Compound Action Potential (ECAP) and Neural Response Telemetry (NRT TM).
This course will provide information on:
- The current electrophysiological (EP) measurements adapted for a CI (overview), e.g. Electrical Stapedius Reflex Threshold (ESRT), NRT, Electrically Evoked Auditory Brainstem Response (EABR), Cortical Evoked Potentials (CEP)
- The various clinically useful applications of NRT, with practical tips on how to implement NRT in your service
- How to perform NRT measurements during CI surgery and in post-operative sessions with adults and children, with step-by-step instructions and practical exercises
The programme is designed to increase the confidence , competence and efficiency level of the course participant in electrophysiology.
Who should attend?:
CI professionals with little/no prior experience in electrophysiology in general or NRT in particular, or infrequent users of NRT.
