The Nucleus 5 Sound Processor is the world's most water resistant BTE (behind the ear) sound processor (IP57 depending on battery choices)1
This gives you or your child the flexability to enjoy strenuous activities and spend time by the water assured that your sound processor will keep on working.

When using a standard battery module (with Zinc Air batteries), the CP810 Sound Processor has a dust and ingress protection rating of IP44. The CR110 Remote Assistant has a dust and ingress protection rating of IP44. IP44 and IP57 are rated according to International Standard IEC 60529.
