Benefits of Baha®

Baha® utilises the body's natural ability to conduct sound. Instead of trying to push sound through a damaged middle or outer ear, Baha sends sound directly through the bone, naturally stimulating the inner ear.

With Baha, your patients:

  • Experience great sound with less distortion & feedback1
  • Regain 360-degree sound awareness2
  • Experience sound without anything blocking their ear canal or any feeling of weight from a hearing aid on their ear3
  • Benefit from reduced problems from allergies or chronic ear infections4
  • Can try Baha, before they decide to go ahead with surgery
  • Get a proven, clinically tested and documented hearing solution5
  • Benefit from more than 30 years of experience in bone conduction

Professional support for you

Only with Cochlear do you get access to:

  • Baha courses to train you and your team
  • Materials and software to help you in patient counselling
  • A full portfolio of sound processors
  • Aftercare kit and instructions for your patients
  • Web based patient support

Allows patients to test it without surgery

No surgery is needed to test Baha, as you can let patients try out the system using a test band or using a Baha sound processor on a Baha Softband. This way, your patient can experience Baha first-hand, without surgery.
