Our HOPE program was initiated in part due to a growing percentage of children and adults with cochlear implants.

Workshops covering adult and pediatric (re)habilitation.  The adult workshop is intended for adult recipients, family members, and professionals who work with adults while the pediatric workshop is a one-day intermediate level course for professionals.  The featured speakers are Teresa H. Caraway, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT and Joanna T. Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVT--both of Hearts for Hearing.  The first stop on the "tour" will be Albuquerque, NM on November 17-18 with additional workshops being held in Cincinnati (January 15-16, 2009), New Haven (March 16-17, 2009) and Salt Lake City (April 6-7, 2009).
